Board and Train is our most popular service. This is a uniquely customized program where your dog will receive training while living with our trainer in a home environment. Board and Train can be the best option for many families. During the time your dog spends with our trainer, he/she will have multiple training sessions a day. Every board and train client receives a personalized video demonstrating what their dog has learned at the end of the program. We are the only positive reinforcement Board and Train program in the area!

You will receive detailed information on what your dog has learned and what homework you have to work on with your dog. A follow-up session in your home will be done to assess how you are doing and provide feedback and training. You will have support not just during training but for the rest of your dogs life. We have many clients that are senior dogs now and we still talk to their humans about how they are doing and are always willing to answer any questions.

How exactly does this program work?

We have programs ranging from 7 days to 4 weeks. Our most requested program is the 2 week program. In this program we will work on polite manners with other dogs, boundaries with dogs and people, how to handle over excitement, all basic obedience: Stay, Down, Leave it, Place, Come, Nose Touch, Leash Walking & incorporate distractions like walking past dogs, kids playing, coming when called from far away. While they are with us we will continuously work on polite house skills - appropriate chewing, puppy mouthing, settling in the home and general good behavior. We train 3-5 sessions a day of about 20 minutes long. Your pup will stay at our home. We have two full time trainers and two training assistants that work with, play with and care for the dogs. Our whole day is all about the dogs. Our Board and Train program is dog training & human training. At the end of your pups training you will receive a video so you can see all that they have learned as well as homework that gives step by step instructions of what we worked on and how we want you to continue. We also offer an in home follow up session!
We usually book 2-4 weeks out. The way our payment process works is we ask for a $200 non refundable deposit which goes towards the overall cost to hold your training space. (We only accept 2-3 dogs in our program at a time). The rest of the payment is due at pick up.
When you bring your dog for training we ask that you bring a copy of vaccination records, food and a blanket that smells like home.
*We accept cash, credit cards, and checks as payment.
*Payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds after payment has been made.
*All Forms are due on the first day of class. Please click the links below to download the Enrollment form and Waiver.
*All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative before entering class. Class applications will be sent to you via email. Form must be turned in on the first day of class. Puppies cannot enter class until they have had at least two sets of vaccinations.
*Full payment is required on the first day of class.
*Classes have limited time slots and fill up quickly. Our goal is to get you into our training program within 2 weeks of contact.
*Right to decline entry: In order to protect all participants in a class, we reserve the right to decline entry to any dog who presents behavior issues that may be dangerous, disruptive, or that may be exacerbated by participation in a group class.
*Class schedules are subject to change prior to the class start date.
*Enrollments are processed in the order received.
